The end of the school year is something to celebrate! If you’re anything like me, this time of year is also a bit busier than usual. If you know you want to weave student celebration into your month, but aren’t sure how to do it, you’re going to love what I’m sharing today. Let’s talk about end of the year gifts that everyone will love!
Small End of the Year Gifts Make a Big Impact
I know that for most of us, this time of year is crazy busy, and our funds are often limited when it comes to end of the year gifts. But, even still, we want to show students, colleagues, and parent helpers that we are thinking of them. If you’re nodding your head in agreement, I’m right there with you! This is exactly why I created some simple gift tags that fit with a wide range of treats and inexpensive items. There’s a little something for everyone on your list, and best of all, they won’t break the bank!
I find that small end of the year gifts like these make a big impact. Everyone loves to be remembered and small gestures go a long way when it comes to making others feel valued. So, no matter who’s on your list or the type of gift you’d like to give, I’ve got you covered!
End of the Year Gifts for Everyone on Your List
As I mentioned above, I created an End of the Year Gift Tag resource that will allow you to make everyone on your list feel special. There are 30 different gift tags included that come in both color and black and white options. Each option also comes in two formats – sticker label or paper. This will allow for tons of versatility and customization to fit your needs! Many of the tags are great for students, while others are perfect for colleagues and parent helpers. Here’s a peek at what’s inside!
Snack Bag End of the Year Gifts
Everyone loves a good snack, right? This is an economical end of the year gift option that is super simple to make in bulk for your whole classroom. Just choose a snack tag, print, and attach it to the corresponding snack. You can bag the snacks yourself, or select individual pre-bagged options. Here are the end of the year gift tags included for this category:
- Have A Poppin’ Summer – Use with popcorn
- Have a Cool Summer – Use with freezer pops
- It’s O-Fish-Ally Summer – Use with Goldfish crackers

I love these options because you can make a whole bunch of them for a large classroom at a low cost. Things like cookies and popcorn often come in multi-packs, making it super simple to prepare in bulk. The kids will be so excited to receive these end of the year gifts, and as a bonus, they come together quickly and easily!
Non-Food End of the Year Gift Options

These options are a lot of fun for students, and many of these items can be found at the dollar store or multipacks on Amazon. Just choose your item, print the tags, and attach them for fun end of the year gifts that everyone will love.
Gifts for Colleagues & Parent Helpers
Parent helpers and colleagues are what make the hard days brighter! We can’t forget them as we prepare end of the year gifts. While many of the snack bag options work wonderfully for these people in your life, I also wanted to make sure I included some options that are geared more towards adults. Here’s what you can find in my End of the Year Gift Tags resource:
- Thanks for Being a Tea-Riffic Teammate – This would work well with a tea-related gift basket with a tea cup, a box of tea bags and/or some honey sticks.
- Thanks A Latte – Use with coffee, a coffee mug, or a coffee gift card
- Thanks A Latte For Being The Perfect Teammate – Use with coffee, a coffee mug, or a coffee gift card
These are such fun gifts, and I know the co-workers and helpers in your life will be super appreciative to receive these items! Don’t forget, inside my End of the Year Gift Tag resource, you get ALL of these awesome tags, so you don’t have to choose between student gifts or colleague gifts. You get them all so that you’ll be able to check off everyone on your list with economical, fun, and thoughtful options for everyone!
End of the Year Bookmarks for Students
Another fun gift option for your students is these Summer-Themed Bookmarks. They come in both color and black and white, so you can choose whatever works best for your needs. The full color options are bright and fun! I like to print and laminate these so that the bookmarks last. The black and white options can be colored by kiddos, or printed on Astrobright paper for a fun pop of color without using ink. There are 20 unique designs with cute messages such as:
- Best Year Ever!
- This Year Was Sweet
- Dive Into a Good Book
- Have a Dino-Mite Summer
- Reading Makes You a Happy Camper
You can give out the bookmarks all on their own, or add a picture book to go along with them. Scholastic Book Club usually has a featured $1 book each month as well as multipacks for teachers to purchase. I’ve also seen great books at the dollar store from time to time, too!
It would also be fun to pass out the Summer Bookmarks with this Free Summer Reading Challenge. Kids can use the challenge to keep track of books read over the summer and use their bookmark to hold their place! This is a great way to give your kids thoughtful end of the year gifts and encourage summer reading. Take this up a notch by having students return the reading challenge to you on the first day of school in exchange for a special prize. This will motivate your little learners all summer long!
